Frequently asked questions
Q: How do I lock the shape?
A: Press either volume button at the moment you want to lock the shape in place. If you'd rather not use the volume button, enable tap-to-lock in Settings to use the screen instead.
Q: What's the daily challenge?
A: Every player gets the same level each day, generated from a shared, UTC-based seed. You get one attempt with no retries, so make it count—a color-coded calendar tracks your completions and streaks.
Q: Can I remove ads?
A: Yes. Purchase the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase to eliminate banner and interstitial ads. Optional reward ads for retries remain available if you want them.
Q: Does Alignee work offline?
A: Yes, you can play offline anytime. An internet connection is only needed for Game Center leaderboards and iCloud sync.

The App is a one-hand, timing-based arcade game for iPhone in which players lock a moving shape into a target zone using the volume button or a tap-to-lock alternative. It is intended for entertainment purposes.

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without any warranties. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not responsible for any loss resulting from use of the App.
6. Limitation of Liability

Alignee is designed to protect your privacy. We collect minimal information necessary to provide and improve our services:
- Advertising data: We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements, which may collect device and usage information for personalized ads.
- Game Center data: If you sign in to Game Center, Apple manages your identity, achievements, and any leaderboard data.
- Gameplay stats: Your scores, accuracy, and progress are stored locally on your device and, if you're signed into iCloud, synced via CloudKit so your progress follows you across devices.
- Purchase information: Apple handles all purchase transactions. We only receive confirmation of a successful purchase to unlock the ad-free experience.
2. Information We DO NOT Collect
- Personal information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers.
- Location data: We do not access or collect your location information.
- Contacts or photos: We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal data on your device.
3. How We Use Information
- Personalized advertising: AdMob uses device information to show relevant advertisements. On first launch, you'll see an App Tracking Transparency prompt, and players in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland will also see a Google UMP consent form before any ad loads.
- Game Center features: Achievements and leaderboard data are used to power in-app progress tracking and competition with other players.
- Sync across devices: iCloud sync keeps your stats and daily challenge history consistent if you play on more than one device.
- Feature access: Purchase confirmations unlock the ad-free experience.
